I'm looking for a full-time Wedding focused Virtual Assistant to plan and work with friends, family, and various hired resources for 40 hours per week for a total of 160 hours a month. This position could later extend into the next 4 months for the right candidate. A highly flexible and versatile candidate will have the potential to convert to my Executive Virtual Assistant for many of my own personal and business tasks on a permanent basis, and at an increased rate. You must be available on-call 24x7, but many tasks will be flexible enough that you should be able to maintain your own hours easily. This position will mostly require work by email, Google Docs, phone, instant messenger, and Facebook. This role would involve the following: 1) Planning and day-to-day management of wedding related projects. 2) Obtain contractor quotes, and coordinate on-site resources, as needed. 3) Contact and coordinate friends and family regarding wedding plans as needed. 4) Develop and administrate the wedding web site. 5) Perform basic budgeting and bookkeeping of wedding related expenses. 6) Research prices, vendors, and provide detailed analysis to help reduce costs. 7) Provide positive energy and support to bride and wedding planning resources. 8) Plan, schedule, and provide reminders and motivation for specific tasks. 9) Any other tasks as directed. Ideal candidates would have the following: 1) Good written and verbal English skills. 2) Professional, hard working, self directed, and self motivated. 3) Uplifting and positive attitude. 4) Knowledge of US customs and culture; especially in regards to weddings. 5) Able to maintain a list of notable accomplishments and cost savings to aid in self-promotion of work. Additional Information: - At the end of each week, you must provide an itemized list of tasks that was completed, with the total time spent on each task. - VOIP phone with US phone number is required. - A bonus will be given for exceptional work. Bidding: Please provide your bid for 160 hours of work for the month.
