I do scheduling for events. Each event has common elements which occur every time and some which are new and must be added. I would like to be able to create an Event Report using drop down and/or prefill boxes to populate the report. I could use Microsoft Access but am open to using any other software providing it is reasonably priced and easy to use. I have a 64bit Windows 7 computer and an Apple Ipad.
I have data on separate sheets in Excel which I want to be able to copy and paste into the database and then access it using Reports and to add to it using Forms. The reports will be tailored to the event and information in each to the individual.
A typical event will include items such as:-
Name of Event
Location of event
Date and time of event
Event Participants – Teams etc.
Crew names , cell numbers and email of all crew required for the event
Hotels – for crew members
Rental cars – for crew members
Equipment – used at all events
Other equipment - Needed for this event
Notes – Specific relating to an event
