Mal/Mips Program 2 Parts

Simple Mal/Mips program that is fully described in an attached file. Essentially part a is taking in a decimal value (positive or negative) switching it to its binary form and counting the leading 0's or 1's depending on it being a positive or negative integer. Part b is checking to see if a given pattern exists in a given text string. The match is case sensative.
