First timer - apologies if I have misunderstood the process.
I have a MS Word 2007 document in Arabic text. The document has footnotes. The footnotes are placed after words or a group of words in the document. The words that are present in the main body of the word document are coloured RED. The font is uniform throughout the document "Traditional Arabic". The contiguous RED WORDS preceeding a footnote reference are what I am calling Footnote ReferenceText. I have given a small example below with the CAPITALISED words representing the RED coloured text.
This is AN EXAMPLE of TEXT.
 A suggestion.
I have bolded the 'AN EXAMPLE' to indicate it is red in colour. I want to extract the following information into a table format in an excel spreadsheet and need commented code so I can understand what is going on.
Paragraph text: This is an example of text.
FootnoteReferencePosition(1): [The character position of the footnote reference in the text]
FootnoteReferenceText(1): "an example"
FootnoteText(1): "a suggestion"
FootnoteReferencePosition(2): [The character position of the footnote reference in the text]
