Thank you for reading my job post.

About Me

I am an experienced programmer, graphic designer, WordPress Theme designer, vBulletin Theme Designer, and general Web Developer. But the problem is, I have never setup a Wiki before.

About the Job

I need to setup a Wiki site that is very very very similar to Of course, we will not be implementing all of the functionality of [url removed, login to view] in this job. And, this is not a "design job." Your job is to just make the wiki "functional." The finished website does not have to look "pretty" for this job.

Phase 1 (The Job)

You are bidding on the following five tasks:

Task 1: Consult with me about which WIKI platform we should use. I do not know what the best solutions is. I really LOVE WordPress and was thinking about WPmuDev's Wiki a lot. I would prefer a WordPress or vBPress solution. But maybe that is not the best choice. Here are a few choices I've been researching:
• MediaWiki--But I have heard that is very hard to use.
• [url removed, login to view]
• WPmuDev's Wiki
Task 2: Install the WIKI platform on our basic BlueHost server.
Task 3: Implement "member signup methods." Whichever wiki we choose, new members MUST be able to signup EXACTLY like people can signup at I.e. A new member can signup via four methods:
• Facebook
• Google+
• Twitter
• Email (e.g. forum member)
Task 4: Implement a "Related Posts" engine in the sidebar. In the sidebar of the Wiki, I'd like to display 5 "Related Posts." I really like the YARPP Plugin for WordPress. So there should be a similar plugin for whichever WIKI platform we choose.
Task 5: Upload our existing content to the new wiki. We have an existing CSV file with about 1,000 content posts. We just want you to upload our content to the new Wiki and make sure the new posts are created.

Phase 2 (Future Job)

In a future contract (not part of this contract), we may discuss some design work and other long-term programming goals.

To Apply for This Job

To apply for this job, please answer three questions:
1. Which Wiki Platform are you going to use and why?
2. Can you handle the above-described membership signup in an elegant way? Just like [url removed, login to view] does? Are you going to use a plugin?
3. Which "Related Posts" Plugin or Method are you going to use for the sidebar?
