63796 Header Design

Take the current web page header(html and images included) and transform it into a professional looking header. My website is for a construction management organization. The site layout is a traditional left hand side navigation, size of 192px. The current header was going to have text in the "blue" area to the right of the "design and Construction logo", but the client did not want the text, instead they thought the new image (plaza) was more appropriate. I do not want an extensive "heavy" header with lots of images, etc., for a lot of the visitors are on dial-up. Please provide 2 - 3 examples for me to pick from. They must be cross-browser compatible and must fit into the current framework. The attachment includes the html and the 2 images. Note: The plaza image is not mandatory to include in the design. It can be the blue area with a soft right edge, etc... Time is of the essence.....
