Our website was recently converted to a Joomla template by a fellow freelancer. Our design is a bit undesirable and we are looking for a graphical guru with Joomla skills to spif up the site itself. Our requirements are quite standard but are also detailed. We want the new Jooma site to have a smooth look and feel like our current website. Please see the two sites below.
Current Website Address: [url removed, login to view]
New Joomla Template (to be upgraded): [url removed, login to view]
NOTE: We are not married to the design, we are looking for a very friendly and informative site to represent our business. We do not want dark like it is now, we are going for a more professional look. Also, we may be rebranding our company name so will need the ability to update the logo and text. Adding content to the current joomla site is extremely not user friendly, we would like the ability to add content easier.
In the Joomla template site, you will notice that the borders are not even and the overall page/text look and feel looks like the site is 10 years old. We are gearing up for a major marketing effort specifically geared towards driving local traffic to our site. The site needs to be SEO friendly and we would like to integrate the social media networks (LinkedIn & Facebook) as much as possible.
We had the original developer add the three boxes on the main page of the joomla site (break-fix, dexterity essential, dexterity complete). The goal was for the end user to click on one of those and go to a dedicated page where we can add a lot of content to it as well as forms that they can fill out to schedule an apointment. When you click on one of the boxes, you get a short list of data and each header says SIMPLIFYING IT FOR YOUR BUSINESS NEEDS regardless of which box you click on. There is nothing that highlights the actual service that was selected and the content there is almost at the bottom of the page (the background image is HUGE and the wrong one was used) see the home page background and sub page background on our production site, the sub page site background is not as tall and says the title of the service that was selected.
The clipart throughout the site is horrible, looking for the graphics to flow and integrate with the page not just be a square box with an image. Looking for a partner to help us convert this project into a website we can be proud of and that is worthy of our marketing dollars. Thank you for looking and if you are submitting a bid, please put VIPERCMS in the subject so we know that you read the requirements. Thanks again!
