Project Description

I have a Wordpress website and have the Genesis theme with the Executive Child Theme on it. I also have the Diverse Solutions IDX plugin. My website is

What I am looking for is someone who is familiar with html and css to code the Diverse Solutions IDX home search for me. At present there are widgets on the site that from what I understand can be coded by anyone with html and css knowledge. What I'd like is a photo on the home page with the search integrated into the photo. (At present there is a slider linked to listings on the site). It's difficult to explain what I want so I've attached a few screenshots to show what direction I am thinking. I am open to suggestions though. I am just shooting for a better consumer experience for the home search and an overall more professional look for my site.

If you look around the site you will see that it has a bit of a "home made" feel about it, since I did all the work and I'm not a designer. I'd also like a better solution for the links on the pages. I often have multiple links on a page and think there must be a way to make them more visually appealing without losing the value of a text link. I have attached a screenshot of a website that has multiple button links in one place. I would appreciate some ideas on something similar that would work on my site.

The IDX integration probably needs to be done by someone who has worked with this platform before. When you submit your bid please let me know that you have knowledge of IDX to be able to do this job and supply links to websites you have worked on before.
