Project Description

I need someone to develop the graphic user interface of a Wordpress slider plugin that will then be directed to my programmer for coding it.

This slider plugin will be also used as content slider and also as a tool to create slideshows. It will allow import of content (images/ videos/html/articles) from 3rd party image gallery's and services. It will build stunning content sliders for WordPress sites without any coding. It will allow the addition of images, text and videos, embedding your own custom HTML, or even dynamically pull content from sources, like Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Dribble, Flickr, Google+/Google+ Images, Instagram ,Pinterest, Twitter , WordPress posts/articles , RSS feeds.

This project is about designing the control panel of the plugin, designing all the sliders which will be featured as examples in the plugin website and also all the graphics that will be used in the control panel of the plugin (like arrows,, bullets, frames and so on). Also all the options that a user will see in the control panel of the plugin should be designed by you and also the corresponding help text (the text that explains what each option does).

The GUI should be:

• Extremely eye catching (simultaneously pleasant and light weight)

• Packed with a lot of features

• Easy to use (the creation of the sliders should be extremely easy, even for the novices, but without sacrificing any features. A dynamic panel where someone clicks an element of a pre-created slider and only those features that belong to that element are shown may do the work).

• All the options should have a logical hierarchy

Also the bidders should take a look of the graphic user interface principles ( [url removed, login to view] ) that I would like them to inspire your creations.

Note that this project doesn’t involve programming the plugin. It’s only about designing from scratch all the options/menus/configurations/examples/screens/graphics of the plugin which will then be used as a blueprint for my programmer. All your work/graphics will be used by the programmer to clothe his creation. That is why they must be unique, of high quality and eye catching.

Also note that the creation of the sliders and the modification of the examples that will come with the plugin should be extremely easy to adjust and dynamic (the support of drag and drop functionality is of fundamental value).

To have chances to win this project you should show me examples of your work in user interfaces, you must be willing for almost daily communication and you have to fully understand my requirements by reading the attached files. You must be creative and all your work must be unique. You must carefully study all the examples that I am attaching you and you must also visit all the links of other WordPress plugins in order to see how they work. You must keep in mind that I am trying to build a new plugin from scratch that will incorporate the best of the features and must surpass any other similar plugin.

For the winning bid I will setup a WordPress site with the most popular WordPress sliders installed in order to let him to login and browse among their control panels.

The project will be completed in 3 milestones. In order to release the second milestone the winning bidder should show an example of some completed screens and a;also to have my approval for the designs.

Please see the attached zip file with the features that I would like this plugin to support. By understanding which features should be supported, you will also figure out that these features should be controlled by a feature rich and easy to use control panel. Also this zip file has links to similar solutions offered by 3rd party vendors. You must visit those sites and see on demos their control panel. Also the zip file contains some screenshots from the control panel of various sliders plugins. Note that I don’t want something like those, but something way better than those.
