We are a small online fashion store run on Magento. We are looking to grow our business with the help of a virtual assistant. To start off with the position will be 10 hours per week however this will grow significantly for the right person. We are run off our feet and looking for a VA to not only complete tasks but to take the initiative to suggest changes to grow the business as well, ultimately we would like the successful candidate to think of the project as a partnership.
Some examples of tasks you will be doing are:
Entering products and writing product descriptions on our online store, SEO, social networking including getting new , followers to our Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Blog accounts, wordpress design, research, ghost writing, photo editing, graphic design, data entry, basic accounting, and more.
Before bidding for this position please be advised that it is imperative you have achieved a mastery of the English language. Please understand that I will likely not respond to individuals bidding without a track record. My preference will be to find a person with verifiable references and above average reviews.
Now onto the actual job description itself:
1.) Communication is key. My preferred method of communication is via E-mail and Skype therefore, it's imperative you have access rapid and stable access to each.
2.) You should have the ability to send/receive the following: emails, faxes, postal letters and telephone calls.
3.) If you have had experience ghost-writing blogs and websites that would be a tremendous help. I plan on having my virtual assistant - virtual secretary aid in the creation of written materials.
4.) If you have experience in website design, website development, graphic arts, building web traffic, SEO, wordpress, social networking development through the major providers, then please advise.
5.) It is very important you are able to work with spreadsheets, that you are able to do data entry, that you can follow directions and do research.
6.) A web design, fashion background is preferred if possible.
The more of the above that you are able to do yourself the better. I am trying to avoid having to hire out for several little jobs. I like the idea of a one-stop shop. Your assignments will vary as my needs change.
