Project Description

I am in the initial stages of creating my eCommerce company. As with any new age start up I need a website designed. I'm unfamiliar with website design but am competent with everything computer related, except having my vision coded out and put up. Of utmost importance is the ability to draw, retain and handle a large amount of traffic. As such, it needs to be coded so that it is very friendly to find (SEO), and setup so that I could get the best revenue (pay per click, pay per impression, Adsense, banner ads etc) from the traffic, and so that if I needed to upgrade the site/make changes to it I could easily go through that process. The look and feel of the website overall would be extremely simple though. Nothing fancy, just clean cut. I've already purchased the domain name that I plan to use. My goal would be to have 10,000 unique daily visitors through the end of year one.

Specifically, I would provide ppt mockups of exactly how I'd want the site to look.
There would be '4' main 'pages
1. Main page where there are products listed that would rotate daily with a checkout option.
2. A page that is updated once a month, that is basically an article with a few simple photos.
3. A submission page where people can send me their ideas/files etc.
4. A gallery page, with pictures from various events etc that is updated weekly.

Of course, as it is an eCommerce site each user would need to be able to create a login, checkout securely etc. Additionally, there would be a few information pages (such as an About page, and Lost My Password/Account Management page).

I'm unfamiliar with the pricing etc, so am eager to find out how much I could start the process for. It is a key step for me to present to investors to gain further funding. I would need someone that could hand hold me through this initial process.
