Project Description

We are looking for a person to design and build a website that will support a nationwide non-profit educational entertainment program. The primary purpose of this iteration of the website is to interest funders and to give potential investors and collaborators a good sense of what the final version of the site will be and how it will work. Interaction requirements on the site will be minimal (mostly linking to other pages) but there will be a need to present video on many pages. Candidates need to have a strong design sense (and portfolio to demonstrate), good instincts about information design and navigation structure, and a willingness to work collaboratively and quickly. We already have a site built that is currently up, but it needs to be restructured and reskinned. We will present a draft of a site map as a starting place which we will work together to refine, and we have a logo and color scheme that will need to act as an anchor for the look and feel of the site. Expectations of deliverables include design of look and feel, all necessary wireframes/page templates, and all elements needed to build site. We will discuss with you who you will need to work with you (developer, etc.) to get the site launch-ready and to assure that CMS can be handled by the core team going forward. This work needs to begin ASAP. Interested parties should provide an online portfolio and a statement of past relevant experience working with clients.
