Project Description

Project Specifications

Build an html/css template for index, and two formats of subpages.
All navigation and headers must be editable in html for SEO compliance and flexibility of future development.
Image areas can have borders or tables surrounding them however editing the product images in future should not require work in Adobe or fireworks to maintain the design/lay out.
Client wants the website template to be 900 pixels in width and have a background which expands to fill any monitor size (we think they want a background of water)

text for navigation and body text needs to be very easy to read (target market is 40+), large font size, masculine and very clean & simple but professional.

Initial site which client thinks is too narrow & square and not masculine or nautical enough in theme can be seen here:
[url removed, login to view] (homepage)
and 2 formats of subpages:
One supporting multiple images of products:
[url removed, login to view]
One supporting full body text and/or image for product specific page:
[url removed, login to view]

The future development of this site will require a search function (which currently does not work because
products have not been added to the site)

Below are three web sites the client likes the look of. All three have nautical themes and colors and textures or symbols evoking boating or the sea. They are without exception rather masculine (the client's customers are almost exclusively men).

We require 2 versions of templates to choose from to show client before moving forward with revision and final delivery.

Also please see if you can edit/stylize the existing logo and integrate it into the web site header but build the site so that the logo can be replaced if the client doesnt like the proposed logo designs (as they have someone else working on a logo at the moment but there's no action out of the designer for months) For the logo this is the text to be used: 'Atlantic Davits & Boatlifts of the Keys' I believe a font style like this [url removed, login to view] (but not all capitals) might please the client.

Once I have chosen a provider I will provide images to work with.
