Project Description

I am looking for someone to redesign my website at [url removed, login to view]

The redesign is primarily for SEO since the site has lost rankings substantially since the Panda and Penguin updates.

The redesign would include doing keyword research on the site concept of the ASSET Test, given by colleges in the United States.

The URLs on the site need to be changed since there is a problem with keyword cannibalization across the various pages within the site.

There may be a problem with duplicate content on the site as it seems that the material is prone to being copied and placed on online forums and blogs without my permission.

I would work with the developer by writing the on-page content for each of the new URLs, according to which new keyword combinations are being targeted.

[I have been a teacher for several years and have worked with the ASSET Test, so it makes sense for me to write the material about the exam.]

The new on-page content would then need to be commented on or re-worked by the developer for things like keyword density, internal site links, breadcrumbs, etc.

At a minimum, the new site will need to include pages on reading, writing, numerical skills, and advanced math.

In addition, the site should include basic information about the format of the test, a free sample of the exam, and a page directing the customer to the shopping cart.

The sitemap and layout of the site need to be changed to be more SEO friendly. The metadata also needs looking at, of course.

I am open to the idea of putting the site on a platform such as Wordpress, although I would probably prefer not to.
