Project Description

Good day

I have an Opencart E-Commerce website selling computer products.

My supplier gives me a link into their database for stock pricing and availability.
[url removed, login to view]

If I put in my username and password along with the stock code (stock code to be found in my opencart database) I am looking for it gives me a return like this:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
-<payload> -<header> <version>2</version> <modified>2013/11/24 06:32:46 AM</modified> <ttl>727</ttl> </header> -<products> -<product> <code>WC-CH100I</code> <description>Corsair H100i wc+ corsair-link</description> <price>1299</price> <stock>No</stock> </product> </products> </payload>

From here I need the price value and stock value imported to my site database so that if the prices change or the item becomes out of stock it will adjust on my site automatically when the script is run.

The price will have a fixed markup added.
If stock = yes then qty in opencart database should updated to qty of 5.
If stock = no then qty in opencart database should be updated to qty of 0. This will show the item out of stock.
If the item cannot be found from the query (it has been deleted by the supplier) then it should be set to disabled in my opencart database.

There are +-7000 products that must be updated each time the script is run.

After the script has run I should be emailed letting me know the script has run and telling me how many products had to be updated.

Option1:
The update script should run once every 24 hours automatically and I receive email confirmation once it has finished running.

Option 2:
The update script should run once every 24 hours automatically and I receive email confirmation once it has finished running.
+
I have also heard that if a customer clicks on an item it is possible that as the page opens this same query is performed, thereby having up to the minute pricing and stock availability. No need for individual item email updates.

Please give me a set price for both option 1 and option 2.

Kind regards
Terry
