Looking to have a Beta web (eventually mobile) application site based of a Seller's Marketplace or Customer-to-Customer (C2C) business model (such as Freelancer, Ebay) to be build. I want the website to be similar to [url removed, login to view] in the sense of simplicity and the same payment processing mechanism in place.
I need a full understanding on web and mobile phone application from Front end to Back End. That includes building an app that interface with its own server or set of network services.
I am interested in using Amazon Web Services for all of the pieces. If AWS is not a good full solution, then what is?
- Suggestions/advice on picking and choosing a server or cloud solution for things like storage, push notifications, user information and analytics.
Also want to know the general process or solution to integrate other existing application APIs and toolkits (Facebook, google) via backend. Need to know if a "cloud backend" solution in addition to the frontend would be better.
-What are the pros and cons on BaaS/PaaS as opposed to self-setup and configuration? If so, which one do you recommend? Parse, StackMob, Kinvey? What is a good solution for a startup?
-I also want to know how the Database and load redundancy takes into account.
[url removed, login to view] uses Stripe to accept payment from the users and then uses PayPal to pay out the contributors. I want the same or a similar process in place. Stripe is able to do a “collect fees” feature that enables the website to charge a fee on top of the fixed price. Please see [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view] for more information.
[url removed, login to view] uses a simple profile layout. I want something similar but need the functionality to be able to upload profile pictures, other pictures and other typical social networking attributes.
