Project Description

Hello everyone and welcome to my first [url removed, login to view] job.\r\n\r\nBefore moving any further I have to insist that all bidders carefully read through the project description, view the attachment and demonstrate this in their bid. Generic copy/paste bids that don\'t show they understand the full project scope will be disregarded. Also, please only post links to portfolio sites that are relevant to this project (CSS/JS animations, Responsive etc.)\r\n\r\nJob Details\r\n- This job consists of coding a web portfolio PSD template into responsive, animated HTML5/CSS3/JS.\r\n- You will need to have good knowledge of SASS or LESS and understand JavaScript well enough to use certain scripts and/or customize them if needed.\r\n- You need to have good English and be available for chat or voice to nail down the details.\r\n- The code needs to be very clean, optimized and well commented, it needs to work perfectly on all modern browser from IE10 onwards and have a fallback for IE8/9 without the CSS animations. You should be familiar with adaptive degradation or progressive enhancement techniques.\r\n- It will need to be very well optimized performance wise so that it works great on mobiles and tablets as well.\r\n- This will eventually be implemented as a WordPress theme by us so you need to keep that in mind.\r\n- I can provide you with some code I own that will simplify some parts of the project (background image slideshow, video player etc.) as well as a skeleton for this project that is 15% completed and we haven\'t had the spare time to get it done, hence this bid request.\r\n\r\nYou will be provided with complete layered Photoshop files and all the other assets needed to complete the job as well as comprehensive specifications.\r\n\r\nWhile this is not a very complicated project per say, the quality requirements are very high so only front-end developers that are confident they can implement it flawlessly should apply. I will not accept shady work.\r\n\r\nBeing a start-up I don\'t have a huge budget but are definitely willing to pay a fair price for great quality work. If we have good chemistry and both parties are happy with the project I can send quite a bit of work your way as I have plenty of designs that are waiting to get coded.\r\n\r\nThank you for reading so far and happy bidding. I hope we\'ll have fun working on this project together.\r\n\r\nCheers,\r\nOctav
