Project Budget$1500 - $3000 USD
The business requires a website for a new venture to support a rental business. The business will rent out products to customers for a period of time and will charge them a monthly fee for this purpose. Because of the logistical issues inherent in a rental business, it is important the website will be able to keep an accurate record (past and present) of each product.
The website will provide a customer with information about the business as well as encourage them to sign up and start renting one or more of our products. We offer only one product (of which we have a large stock). In the future, we may offer more products, but the amount of different products is unlikely to exceed 10.
The website can be divided into three logical groups:
1 – Public Website The public website presents the face of the company and encourages visitors to become a customer.
The public website will provide information about our service, our product, our pricing, frequently asked questions, a login form, a contact form, etc.
2 – Restricted Customer Site The restricted site is only accessible to customers once they’ve signed up and logged in. This site will provide customers with an overview of all the items they are renting, their locations and their history.
From the restricted site, customers can place orders, or make changes to the product they have rented.
3 – Administrator Site The administrator site allows the administrator to make changes to such things like Customer information (ie, their address or billing details), Product inventory (ie, their location and which customer is currently renting the product), pricing and other variables.
