Hi,

I have a small IT business in Australia, www.ezzydoesit.com.au.

I have a client who is interested in modifying the existing workflow of their online rental system for snow equipment hire.

Please find attached a ‘Blank [url removed, login to view]’ and ‘Blank Website [url removed, login to view]’, both of which have been anonymised for privacy reasons. Please note that this business already has a website and does not require any front end web design at this stage.

Currently as a customer I can complete the attached form online, which then simply sends an email with the contents of the form in plain text to the store owners.

Unfortunately, they do nothing with this information. When I enter the store (potentially on the other side of the world, many weeks later), I am presented with a cardboard form and asked to fill out all my information again.

To the solution; All that is required is a new order interphase which allows you to print the customer’s order details in exactly the same format as the existing cardboard allowing the customer to sign it when they are satisfied with their order.

To the solution: Cardboard forms just like the one attached will be pre-printed, with blank fields, and inserted in a printer. The website form will take data entered by an end user, and generate a document that can be printed by in-store staff, with the data fields being printed in the correct locations aligned to the fields on the cardboard form.

A customer would then be able to enter the store, be presented with their form that has all their information entered online pre-printed, and they would just have to read and sign it.

I am in the process of confirming with my client that they wish to go ahead with this project, so please note I cannot commit at this stage. No timeframe has been set by my client as yet.
