We have a website, that i need a couple of things changed on it. it shouldn't be a big job. it is a joomla website.
the first thing i need fixed is to do with a downloadable catalogue that i have put on the website.
the first problem is that, when you click the 'download catalogue' button, a window should pop up that asks some questions, and once these are filled out, then the catalogue appears in PDF, the trouble is i have noticed that on 'internet explorer' this window doesn't pop up, when the button is clicked on, nothing happens. it works with chrome and firefox, but they are the only others that i have tried. so what i want is it fixed so that it works on all types of browsers. you will have to check that it works on all the other types out there such as safari ect.
But there is problems with the actual functioning of this too. what is meant to happen is the pop-up window pops up, and it requires you to enter in some details before the catalogue can be downloaded. the details are: 'name', 'email', 'phone number', 'state' and also an option to send a message. Then what i want it to be is the 'name, email, phone number and state' are all needed before the catalogue can be downloaded, but the message function is optional.
What I have described above is what I want to happen. At the moment this is not happening, there are problems with it, which you will see, if you can’t let me know and I will try and explain it better.
The other problem is the quote button near the top right hand of the page, this button stays there no matter what page is clicked on, and what is supposed to happen is, when a product has been added to the quote cart, when this button is clicked on, it is meant to take you to the quote cart page. So I want this fixed so that it will do that.
The only other thing I want done is the ‘download catalogue’ button changed on the home page, if this can be made a bit better looking so that it stands out more, and looks like a ‘button’ to click on, that would be good, but at the same time keeping it to a similar style to the page.
