What is required?
There are three phases to this brief:
Phase 1: The creation of a brand (inc. All the collateral that goes with that)
Phase 2: The creation of print/online ready templates
Phase 3: The build of a website with supporting functionality
Phase 1: Creation of a Brand
At the heart of this brief will be the creation of:
1. A Logo
2. Colour Palette
3. Iconography (Iconography (Welcome, How It Works, About Us, Our Team, Prices & Contact Us)
In addition to the information provided at the beginning of this document you will find design references in the appendix for inspiration
Once the core identity is agreed will need to explore how this will work on the following channels
1. Online: website
2. Stationary - Letterhead, compliment slip & business card
4. A5 Flyer
From this we will be able to assess how the identity it working in real world scenarios and refine.
Once this is approved all of the above collateral will then need to be incorporated into a set of brand guidelines (estimated length 10pp)
Phase 2: Print/online templates
The elements created in phase 1 will then need to be used to build finalised templates for use online and in print – If required copy or additional imagery will be specified
Website (copy & imagery)
Compliments slip (copy)
Business card (copy)
A5 Flyer (copy & imagery)
After the completion of this phase it is expected that all print material will be supplied to a printer for printing and the website template will form the basis for phase 3.
Phase 3: Website with supporting functionality
This website will need to be built in WordPress. It will incorporate our identity and have the following functionality:
1. Editable via CMS
2. Be mobile optimized & responsive in design
3. Infinity scrolling - Reference to the functionality - [url removed, login to view]
4. SEO optimized
5. Linked to Google Analytics
6. Booking form – Form which will enable customers to place a job
7. Login area – An area which will enable suppliers to bid on jobs placed by customers & an area which will enable customers to review the jobs they post
8. Postcode look up
Functionality: Vital to the success of the website will be the ability to have an automated system which emails suppliers as soon at the job. The suppliers should also be able to pay immediately in order to get all of the details they require.
Unlimited amends are expected on all strands of the project and i am expecting to spend no more than £450
