Currently use an online Web form to update a MySql database and submit data to multiple email accounts based on the user drop down list. The Database works for the admin to review using MySql Browser, but I would like users via the web, based upon their username and password, the ability to look at the data and view or print it out based on select criteria and a few relationships.
Approximately 85 users need the ability to view/print the data. 72 users (clubs) would only be able to look/print their data. 10 users would be able to look at between 5 - 10 clubs (region/zone), and 3 users would be able to look at all clubs.
The data is currently organized with the above relationships, i.e, each record in the database contains the club and region/zone field and it is required when they submit the data via the web. The MySql Database is updated with the information they submitted via the online reporting form.
I would envision the online link to send the user to a reporting page that requires the user to log in. Based on the username and password, for example, a club person, would only have access to their club's data. They could select a time period for which they want to review/print. A region/zone person would be able to look at all the club's they are responsible for. ( The username could be their club or region/zone and a password we assign each year).
The online web report would need to be username/password protected. Have the ability to select records based on date range, for a single club or multiple clubs (based on the above explanation), and then be viewed on the screen or printed to either an HTML form or PDF form.
