Note: Before reading on, design must be Joomla - as I have already done quite a bit of work on the content and logins etc using this software.

I own a company called the Lincoln Institute. It teaches senior managers and owners of companies how to be better managers and leaders.

I have created a "portal" on my website ([url removed, login to view]) for my clients to login to called Ulysses.

Ulysses needs a "landing page" that:

1. Describes what it does (see [url removed, login to view]).
2. Has a video link that shows how Ulysses works - I haven't yet produced this.
3. A section with client testimonials (this may also be video or text)
4. A login page with differing levels of login.

Beyond the landing page, I have had 99designs come up with what looks like a diary with tabs across the top (design almost complete - see attached).

The tabs are:
1. My Goals
2. My Job
3. My Team
4. My Review
5. My Performance
6. My Resources
7. Join a Huddle
8. Contact my Coach

The first 5 of these form a persons "Individual Development Plan". In other words, when they join a company, they get access to a Ulysses Login and they can review their "plan" anytime they like from anywhere in the world (i.e., the cloud).

By clicking on a "tab" across the top of their diary they can go to any of these "pages" and there is a combination of text (My Goals), organisation chart with a photo of each person (My team) etc. Lots more detail but probably not at this point.

Within each tab is the ability to "turn pages" as most tabs have multiple pages. My Goals for example would have their aspirations, goals, team goals, team values, etc. This could mean having to "turn the page".

The most complex tab is My Performance. This includes a list of the staff member's key performance indicators and a tick box for rating their performance from 1-5. Their manager also has the scope to complete this form for each staff member. This data is then charted on the opposite page so that during the staff review, the rankings can be discussed.

Each tab has a "backend" that is managed by the company's manager of human resources via an admin login. This allows data to be entered for multiple employees - each employee having their own login and seeing only their personal "book".

Join a Huddle is like a facebook page with 'wall', 'video' etc - its basically a place where you can go and join a conversation with another person.

Contact my Coach is an email embedded into the page that will then go to the coach's inbox.
