Project Description

There are several shops using the same OSC VER2.3 template. The master template has some annoying quirks that need to be tidied up. Examples include:
1./ image re-sizing works in some pages, and not in others
2./ some rows of the displayed categories are not evenly spaced
3./ need to modify number of categories displayed in a row
4./ some of the FCKEDITOR controls don't all work, e.g. elevator bar is unusable
5./ adjust EasyPopulate import from 20 images at a time to 50 images at a time
6./ bits of left-over code still appear throughout....need removing
7./ - 30./ more like this

The template has been developed over 15 months already, so there is custom code here and there. The shops work well, and it is time to take out the untidy parts, to please the ADMIN. These are all little, self-contained tasks that can be completed over 3-5 weeks, and test as we go.

File access, server access, etc will be sent to the successful Bidder. The Bidder should have credentials for OSC Ver2.3 and a track record for applying OSC CONTRIBUTIONS, custom code and maintenance.

Then, we will apply the template to the the existing shops, in an orderly manner during the business quiet time.

After that, a version of the shop is to be made into a CATALOGUE presentation. This is mostly completed, and is to be accomplished by a control panel that simply suppresses or turns off any reference to a CART or ACCOUNT or PAYMENT or similar feature. When you see the current approach, it will become obvious for how to to pick up and finish the job....it just takes time.
