Project Description

We have a requirement of an ecommerce website. It is to be a multi-vendor based website. Our website will sell homemade food items online. We want different artisans to be able to sell their products on our website. People will be able to create their accounts i.e. create their individual shops on the website. When users log in, they will have access to backend their own dashboard where they can upload their products themselves. They can upload product photographs, description, price, etc.

The website will have products divided and sub-divided into various categories. The website will have multiple shops within the website where people can upload their products on their own. It’s like people coming on the website can be buyers as well as sellers. It’s somewhat like [url removed, login to view] but definitely at a much smaller scale and size. The homepage will display all the shops within the website.

We will register a domain. Please recommend an ecommerce platform to suit our specific requirement.

Please refer to [url removed, login to view] - as it comes very close to how we want to site to work. We want a similar interface where anyone can buy and sell their products. There should be a backend dashboard available to the individual sellers with limited access where they can manage, edit, and make changes to their shop within our website. They should also be able to choose their own method of delivery (shipping, delivery, pickup) and the prices of such methods (again, refer to Fooducopia).

They payment for the products will be credited to the sellers, with a percentage of commission credited to ours.

Design wise, the site is to look very similar to Etsy. We are able to provide .PSD files for what we want.

The sire should also have adequate social media connectivity like facebook and twitter compatibility.

It basically will be a consumer to consumer website. Proper frontend and backend is required for the website.

Looking forward for a detailed and positive discussion with you in this regard.

Thank you,
