Project Description

In this project you will be designing a stock market prediction social network website(Drupal).
This website gives users the ability to predict stocks in the US market as well as measure their prediction performance using a very intuitive query engine. Other feature include; head-to-head competition, micro-blogging "twitter style, etc. This website has been in the development stages for quite a while an now we are entering its UI phase and have decided to go with Drupal because of its vast capabilities and developer base. A custom .net REST webservice with MongoDB backend is what powers the stock prediction and performance analysis engine. You will tap into this webservice for that vast majority of all stock related data and functionality used on the website. The social network aspect of the site, micro blogging, user profile design, UI will be developed by you.

You will be working with me as well as another developer who developed the .Net REST webservice (prediction/performance engine) and MongoDB scheme. I have my own Windows 2k8 Cloud Server which currently hosts my infrastructure, you can do all of your work there once i create a login for you. You would have to install the most current version of Drupal 7 for windows.

I will included a .zip file(after bidding) which contains many documents relevant to the website. Start with the "Stock Site" document to get a feel for the features I need. I also will send you another document later (visio) which outlines the prediction engine process flow and how it works so that you understand how it at a high level before diving into it. That file is 20mb so I'm not able to attach it here but it is located on my cloud server for easy access.

You will be chosen based on your perceived expert experience with Drupal CMS which is what I need in this project. I'm looking to build a good professional relationship and if this project turns out well you can expect repeat business. Look forward to hearing from you.
