Project Description

i require a terminal program for linux that will monitor all windows shares on the network, (if the program was unable to scan a network for this i could cope with having everything in a config file)

I would also need to be able to configure that types of file the program looks for and copies

The program would need to not crash if a share was not accessable

the program would need to monitor each share periodically and copy only new files to a specific location

data from share1 would go to \mnt\media\share1\

data from share2 would go to \mnt\media\share2\ and so forth

we would need to be able to handle upto 25 shares as a minimum with 5 different file types

the program should not crash if the copy to location is not accessible

the program will run indefinably copying the specified data to the location

I have a lot of computer systems that will output data when the results are complete or an error happens i need to be easily able to collect all data from the remote systems.

ideally this would end up running on a raspberry pi or similar embedded pcb board
