I need a solution for comparing multiple files. I just need a file compare solution to give statistics of similarity between the files. The solution should work from all to all. For example lets consider we have 3 files in dir1 ( f1, f2 and f3). When I give command: >compare dir1 (compare is the command you will code) I need a table output as below: f1 f2 f3 f1 X 0.3 [url removed, login to view] f2 X X [url removed, login to view] f3 X X X You can use any scripting or external software like comp, fc, diff, diff3 or git. Or you can write your own solution. Please note that your solution should work for any number of files in the directory and you need to get the files automatically from the directory (the only user interaction is giving the name of directory) Also you have to compare any file with any file. For example the sizes of files or the extensions of files can be different. Also the output format is open for smart suggestions.
