Project Description

We require a small desktop application for Windows XP

Basic Overview.... The applications purpose is to compare the TOP 100 product prices from two websites ([url removed, login to view] & [url removed, login to view]) and report back differences in prices.

How It Works....

1. The USER first selects a Product Category from a pre-defined list (which contain a List of TOPSELLER URL's - EG: Blu-Ray,[url removed, login to view]) saved in a [url removed, login to view] file.

2. The USER then selects from a list of DATAFILES (these TEXT files store updated URL matches) eg: [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view] etc

3. The USER then sets a Price Tolerence (this is what determins whether any item is set too high, too low or not matched on [url removed, login to view] compared to [url removed, login to view])

4. The USER then clicks GO! and the app should follow the URL as listed in the [url removed, login to view] and gather the data (using the DATAFILE as a cross-reference) and display the results on screen,

showing the NAME of the PRODUCT (linking back to original [url removed, login to view] URL), Prices on both sites, difference in price, tollerance indication (graphic) and matching [url removed, login to view] product URL if match found.

5. Once all data is displayed the USER can then update missing/unmatched URL's, The USER can also click to EDIT a product on [url removed, login to view]

6. On completion of above the USER clicks SAVE which will then save the updated URL matches to the relevant DATAFILE.
