Our vehicle tracking units have outputs which are connected to relays to control fuel pump (on/off) and Ignition switch. When the unit is in normal working condition, the connection to the relay is high (on) and when the unit is sent a immobilized command, the connection to the relay is low (off). This connection is a single wire between the unit and the relay.
We would want the connection wire to the relay from the unit to be wireless. 2 devices, 1 reader and 1 transmitter should be connected to the relay and unit respectively. Once the unit is immobilized, the radio waves to the receiver should stop which in-turn blocks the current to the relay, and it should resume once the unit is back in active mode.
