I would like a macro for Word 2010 that can find all upper-case non-bold non-italic words within a document, and convert them to lower-case or sentence-case non-bold italics.
The first letter of any capitalized word following a full stop (.) or a quotation mark (") or a paragraph break (^p) should retain the capitalized first letter, so . HELLO becomes . Hello.
The macro should prompt before making each change, so I can click 'Yes' or 'No' when I see if it's correct.
I know it's possible to use Shift+F3 or use the Change Case icon, but this is not what I'm looking for, it's too time-consuming for a document with hundreds of changes needed. That's why I'd like a macro to find the instances automatically.
I can supply sample text if that will help.
