We are looking for a strong candidate to assist in re-working a pre-existing MediaWiki website to function as needed. The job would require strong skills and:
- knowledge of MediaWikis,
- understanding of back-end functions that involve HTML and CSS coding,
- knowledge of Wordpress and Wordpress themes,
- strong communication skills and an understanding of web development that allows us to play around a bit with what we already have.
- Ad-word type campaign knowledge is a bonus but not necessary
The job is not a very large one as all the site information is already there. We need the candidate to be able to adhere to a Functional Specification as set by us and be pro-active in seeking solutions to tasks. Essentially we are making our product look good and adding a few necessary elements to the site that don't exist currently.
You might need to:
Find a Wordpress theme that works for us and translate it into the website
Add buttons, functions etc on back-end
Block pages to outside access other than administrators
Trouble-shoot any issues that may arise
Does this interest you?
Please send us your resume/CV and a link to your work if necessary. The selected candidate will be chosen as soon as possible.
Thank you and hope to hear from you soon!
