Let me have the access to Wordpress admin and we can see if the CSS is recoverable or not. Maybe if you still have the backup of the theme we can pull the css back from it. We can try several measures to bring the set back to what it used to look. Also if you have a thumbnail or screen shot of how the site used to look, it will also help alot.
