I have a client who has their site in Wordpress. I have it all set up, with a shopping cart and a little "subscribe to newsletter" checkbox. The newsletter addresses collect in *only one list* in her AWeber account. She wanted to have multiple mailing lists in Aweber, and be able to have the purchasers email automatically added to a list *based on which product they purchase* (so in some cases that would be two different lists).
Does this make any sense?
I've used plugins by Easy Digital Downloads to get this far, but they aren't 'building that into the plugin' at this time. (Grrr).
The website address is http://www.suzieqsolutions.com.
I had someone suggest that this be done:
1. On successful purchasing of product from Paypal, when user will land on thank you page on our website then we will capture the purchasing details (product name and email ID).
2. We will then call the Aweber API to check whether we have mailing list with same name of product.
2.1 If yes, we will check whether user email id already added in list or not.
2.1.1 If email already exist => no action.
2.1.1 If email not exist => add email ID in mailing list
2.2 If no mailing list exists of same name then create the mailing list, same name as product and repeat step 2.1 for adding email ID.
