Project Description

Hi,

I need to be able to populate a wordpress blog by importing photos (one by one) from a predefined ftp folder and using the individual photos and their iptc data in the various blog post fields. The photo should be placed (scaled down to 600x400px and possibly watermarked) in the content, keywords in the tags field, the description in the except and so on.

The x and y dimensions of the original photo should be used to calculate the megapixel size and that number should go into a custom field.

The process should be initiated from a webpage where it is also possible to predefine the content a few extra custom fields like "photographer" for instance. It should also be possible to select one or more of the 20 or so categories of the WP blog where the blog posts should go into.

When the import process is started all photos of the ftp folder should be imported one by one and made into blog post automatically using the settings on the "import webpage".

It doesn't need to be made as a WP plugin necessarily, whatever works best!

Look forward to hearing from you.

(payment on delivery - 100% working)

Best,
Anders
