I am in the process of starting a Shopify Store. I currently have 3 main suppliers with data feeds.
Dicker Data has an XML data feed
Leader Systems has a XML data feed
Ingram Micro uses a different type of data feed (I have uploaded a photo to show the feed files they have. I have also uploaded the Ingram Micro Data File Information Document).
These 3 suppliers do have some of the same products however use different SKUs. I will need it to assess all the products to see if there is duplicate products and have it choose the product with either the best Dealer Buy Price or product availability.
I will also need the XML feed to upload pictures, descriptions, specifications, and SEO (if SEO is possible).
I have uploaded a picture showing a product on this theme with 2 tabs, Description and Origin. I will need the Origin Tab to be the Product Specification Tab.
The theme I have modified for this Shopify Store is the Atlantic Theme by Pixel Union. Theme Documentation is on the Pixel Union Site.
Also, I have just entered the Shopify Build a Business Competition. If you have any tips or advice to help me win I would be in your favour.
Are you able to complete this project while still keeping a professional look for the store? How much and how long would you need to complete?
