My client is a micropublisher who specializes in scientific materials with embedded mathematics. I would like assistance with developing and installing under Mac OS X a complete turn-key workflow that can take XML-formatted documents and semi-automatically convert these to high-quality LaTeX for print as well as XHTML/MathML for electronic publications.
He has a strong preference for starting with an existing open source XML authoring system tailored to my task, such as tbook ([url removed, login to view]), which ALMOST works but is currently unsupported and may need some tweaks or updates to achieve uniformly reliable results in my Mac OS X environment.
The successful proposer will (1) test, debug, and update tbook on their system, (2) provide email (or other) consulting as needed to successfully install and reliably run the complete package on my Mac OS X computers, and (3) provide assistance with any tweaks needed to the XSLT scripts and environment to achieve the desired output.
