I need a stored procedure developed for MSSQL 2012 which will quickly and efficiently shred XML files into normalized tables. All XML files will adhere to the same schema. The XML files will be loaded into 17 tables which mirror the structure of the schema. The XML files may be as large as 15MB (~300000 rows), but performance is critical. I have read online where developers say that, by loading an XSD schema and creating an XML Index, they were able to shred a [url removed, login to view] file in less than a second. I will provide the XSD and several sample XML files, as well as the script to generate the MSSQL tables. The milestone payment will only be awarded if the largest of the files can be successfully shredded in less than 60 seconds (using an m1 instance on Amazon EC2).
