I have developed an software application/library that enables the configuration of USB-based game devices in the context of different applications. The configuration essentially maps the controls from the game device to values in an application. Currently this map is hard-coded (temporarily) for the some common game devices (steering wheels) for our particular application. However, this needs to be made more flexible so that a user can configure a device and save it to a configuration file, which is then read back in when the application is started (which also uses this library), basically serialize the data structures. The technologies involved are C++, Qt, and Boost. Something like an XML or JSON based configuration file is suggested.

This is a fairly small project but I am basically using at a test introductory project, because I have larger projects that use similar techniques and technologies. In the long run I would like to have a reliable person or people who could assist in more aspects of other projects I have going on.
