Paragraphs should contain at least 3–5 sentences. The essay should be at least 400 words and no longer than 600 words. The essay may be written using first person point of view, so you may use the word “I.” Be sure to avoid second person point of view (you) and the use of contractions.
At least 3 references, should have been published within the last five years. Need to use the attached article ([url removed, login to view]) as one of the references.
The first paragraph should be an introduction paragraph that includes an attention getter and a strong thesis statement (see the Prewriting Exercise PowerPoint for further instruction).
The second paragraph should address the following questions in a narrative style: What result did you get? Are you an auditory learner, a kinesthetic learner, a visual learner or a combination of two of them? Did this seem correct based on what you know about yourself as a learner already? (Answer: visual learner and kinesthetic learner)
The third paragraph should describe at least three strategies that are suggested for your learning style. Identify which ones you have been using intuitively, and which ones will be new for you.
The final paragraph should include a restatement of your thesis statement/review the main points of the essay. It should also include a Biblical/practical application of the information. For example, what does this tell you about the truth of Psalms 139: 14? Finish the essay with a concluding statement that brings everything together in a powerful, final thought.
