We are currently collecting rents for around 200 domestic rental properties for various different landlords and for this purpose we use a Windows SharePoint website with a modified list (see snapshot) to log all our properties addresses, rent due date, payment type and most importantly rents due/paid.
Due to the present economic climate a number of tenants are falling into arrears and we have no means of being alerted when a payment has not been recieved by the due date.
Can you come up with a solution that can be added to our current system to flag up addresses that have gone past their due date and a rent payment has not been recieved, or can you make recommendations on the best way forward? We thought it would be helpful if the rental register details changed colour when rent was not received by the due date i.e. when in arrears.
