Who we are:
Silicon Valley based angel investors who have worked together since 2013 and have jointly made over 80 angel investments in technology start-up companies via three small US based Limited Liability Corporations (LLC’s). Our focus has been primarily on early stage start-ups that are building the future of finance for a rapidly changing world. We believe that the way global capital is invested will affect society and our planet, and we invest with climate change, public health, and global infrastructure access in mind.
You will work to improve and implement accounting and reporting processes for the angel investment portfolio held through two to three related investment LLC’s. This will involve not only assessing and approving current systems and processes but tracking portfolio performance and KPIs, and back office accounting filing, and reporting. Tasks will include bookkeeping via Quickbooks online, tracking and entering data on portfolio companies, generating quarterly investment and performance reports, managing basic corporate filings. The ideal applicant for this role enjoys and is good at detail oriented work, is comfortable working remotely and in a dynamic work environment, is experienced in Excel, Airtable, Google Docs and Quickbooks, has a strong bookkeeping and accounting background, and is familiar or has experience with angel or venture capital investing and portfolio tracking and reporting. We estimate an initial block of work will be required to learn, assess and improve the existing reporting and accounting processes and then about 30-40 hours per quarter after that on an on-going basis. Depending on performance and capacity there may be an opportunity for additional bookkeeping work in other affiliated entities.
