Email Processor for Vendor Invoices.

I work in the finance field & need an application built initially to scan all incoming emails (through a dedicated inbox).
The system process reads the attachments (vendor invoice) and captures the image and all the data fields contained in the invoice. Address / Date / Invoice Number / Amount / State Taxes etc.
Next steps, is for this image to be read / write for accuracy (memory to detect any fraudulent invoices ) and has built in alerts warning the user if this invoice is not the same invoice as per the previous one. (and possibly moved to an exceptions bin , for further checking).
After this process is completed by the user then the image + the captured data is transferred to a file.
Next steps of the project is that this file is readable to be interfaced (or manually uploaded & or / batch driven) or compatibility with any major accounting package (JDE . SAP , XERO , QuickBooks) etc. etc.
Many more user function ideas to be built, after the prototype has been built and thoroughly UAT tested .
