Job Description:
We are looking for a best-in-class Senior Payroll Officer to work with the Accounting Department. As part of a specialist team, you will create value for our clients by ensuring the effective and compliant delivery of payroll services, payroll audits, process improvements and support for initiatives and projects as required, building strong relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
The successful candidate will feel comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a larger team, with the ability to troubleshoot and apply critical thinking to ensure a timely resolution on all payroll deliverables.
What you’ll do
Provide payroll expertise to ensure the on-time, effective and compliant delivery of a fortnightly payroll.
Ensure key milestones are met, while completing all tasks/ deliverables required for a successful payroll.
Contribute to the identification and management of payroll-related risks and issues in a timely manner, including appropriate reporting and escalation.
Support strong governance, stakeholder management and delivery of all payroll-related activities.
Provide technical advice and support in relation to payroll, superannuation, tax queries and business escalations.
Contribute to lifting the capability of our partner teams, with on-the-job coaching and training.
