Wind turbines are an unusually good fit for me: before becoming a full-time illustrator, I spent 30 years in structural-steel estimating, project management, and technical/isometric drawing. I can turn the engineering into clear, engaging pictures without making a children’s book feel like a manual. I’ve created book covers and interiors, work in pencil, graphite, and pen-and-ink, and use Photoshop daily. My 3,000 AUD bid and 30-day schedule are preliminary and assume “1719 pages” means 17–19 total book pages, a supplied final manuscript/storyboard, one principal character, one approved style, and no more than 10–12 finished illustrations plus a cover, delivered as layered PSD and print-ready files. If the request is for 17–19 separate full-page illustrations, layout, or additional characters/scenes, the budget and schedule must be revised. Before a firm quote I need the exact illustration count, page/trim size, age group, manuscript and scene list, character references, required style/complexity, cover/layout scope, file specifications, deadline, and commercial licensing terms.
