Enhance AI MVP: Java & Node

Our AI-driven MVP is already live on a Java Spring Boot back end with a Node.js front end. It performs well, but a few stubborn bugs remain and, more importantly, the product now needs a robust analytics extension: weekly sales and revenue reports available from the admin dashboard. Work will focus on two areas: • Bug fixing – Triage and resolve the open issues currently tracked in our Git repository. – Refactor only where necessary to keep the codebase clean and maintainable. • Feature addition: advanced analytics – Capture the relevant transactional data streams. – Generate and store weekly sales & revenue reports. – Expose these reports via a secure REST endpoint and a simple dashboard widget. – Include automated tests to cover data accuracy and endpoint stability. Tech environment Spring Boot (Java 17), Node.js (Express + React widget), PostgreSQL, Git, and typical AI toolchains for data processing. Familiarity with cloud deployment (AWS or GCP) is a plus because the reporting job will run on a scheduled Lambda/Cloud Function. Acceptance criteria 1. All currently logged bugs closed with passing unit tests. 2. Weekly report job runs automatically and delivers figures matching raw database queries within 0.5 % variance. 3. Reports are viewable in the dashboard and downloadable as CSV. 4. No degradation in API response times after deployment. Source control access and full MVP documentation will be provided immediately after kickoff so work can start without delay.
