We have a project where we are communicating with a "Black Box". Before we can communicate with it, the Box sends us a 2-byte token to which we have to respond. The response we send is based on the token the Box sends us. We don't know what the algorithm is that’s used to generate the response.
The task is to reverse engineering the algorithm used to generate the response. We have 4 examples of data the Black Box sends and the response it expects (see below). We have a fifth example we'll use to validate your algorithm.
We'll pay $500 to the first person that can provide an algorithm that passes our test.

Any chance to communicate with the box directly? Are your results the same every instance while sending those bytes or is time/other headers a factor too? Any chance to get a copy of the blackbox firmware/software?
