I'm requiring a coder with experience in graphic algorithms and image processing. I have a huge batch (and continuously growing) of source images where I need to programmatically apply noise reduction. This reduction does not need to be exact though. There are many hints you can use to ease the processing. E.g., the images are small, they don't contain photographic content (just letters and line art) and very few colors are used.
What I need is a dynamic link library in plain Win32, with the fewest possible dependencies and resources usage (so no .NET or ActiveX allowed), able to take the full path of a given source image and do the respective processing. The code must be thread-safe and it's intended to be included in a larger project. Any development environment can be used as long as the previous requirements are met.
Complete details, samples, etc., will be given to those interested. This is a complex job and because of that, I'm looking for experienced people.
Finally, be aware that I will need to check a demo before awarding the project. I've lost enough time and money before with apparently skilled developers. So, take that into account.
