AWS Set Up
Budget $250-750 USD
I require complete set up of DNS management, IIS server and database services.
The following setup is required on the Ireland infrastructure:
Staging environment.
This will consist of one VPC (main network) split in three subnets. The sub-nets and network will
be split across three separate datacenters in the chosen region.
The client has a choice to make the sub-nets publicly available, meaning that they will be
accessible from the public internet. This will only apply to SSH and RDP access to the
infrastructure. All Http access must be managed via Load balancers. One web server installed with
Windows datacenter edition to host IIS and Single RDS database with daily backups.
Production Environment
The production environment will consist of one VPC (main network) split into six sub-nets. The
sub-nets and network will be split across three separate datacenters in the chosen region.
Three of the subnets will have public access and the rest will have private access.
Server Setup and Configuration
The following self-built items to build and manage the our infrastructure:
Web Server
Building the webserver on Windows Datacenter with IIS. All security group access will need o be setup
between the subnets and load balancers. RDP access will need to be granted on source destination IP
address list to secure access to the server. Automation scripts will need to be provided to update local ip
addresses if the IP address might change connecting to the RDP service.
Cloud Flare
All DNS servers for all domains to be migrated to CloudFlare. This will allow
for DDOS mitigation and easier SSL management for all sites.
All domain related items as well as routing of domains to be setup to the relevant services.
Databases
All databases needs to be installed and managed on the AWS RDS database solution. All databases
must be encrypted and managed in high availability mode. This will allow for automatic failover
with no downtime to us or our end-users.
Database must be build according to the our needs and will need to create a temporary root
password.
