I need a small utility that automatically presses the “Skip,” “Close,” or “X” button whenever a video ad appears on an Android device. The focus is strictly on video ads for now, but I’d like the underlying logic to be flexible enough to extend to other ad types down the road. Platform • The first release must work reliably on Android. If it also happens to skip any other app ads without extra effort, that’s a bonus, but Android-wide coverage is the priority. Ad-detection approach I’m open to whatever technique you believe will be the most accurate and light on resources—image recognition, pattern recognition, accessibility-service hooks, or a smart hybrid. Explain briefly in your proposal why your chosen method is the better fit Must be able to use discord to call/voice share screen must speek good english Deliverables • An installable APK (or Android module) that silently watches the screen and taps the visible skip/close control the moment it appears • Source code with clear comments so I can maintain or extend it • A short README covering permissions required, how to build, and any configuration options Acceptance criteria 1. On at least three popular apps containing skippable video ads, the utility dismisses the ad within one second of the button appearing. 2. Battery and CPU impact remains negligible during a 30-minute test session. 3. No interference with normal user interaction. If you’ve built similar overlay or accessibility tools before, that’s a definite plus—feel free to point me to them.

Hello, Automated Video Ad Skipper App {{{ I HAVE CREATED SIMILAR BEFORE AND I CAN SHOW YOU }}} I have carefully reviewed your Android ad-skipping utility requirements and understand that you need a lightweight background solution that can detect visible Skip, Close or X buttons and automatically interact with them quickly. I have 11+ years of Android development experience and can build the app using a reliable combination of accessibility-based detection and visual recognition, allowing the system to identify relevant controls while minimizing unnecessary CPU and battery usage. I will implement the background monitoring, automatic tap handling, permission management and safeguards so normal user interaction is not interrupted. The detection logic will also be structured so it can be extended to support additional ad types later. I will test the application across at least three popular apps containing skippable video ads and optimize the response time toward your one-second requirement while keeping resource usage low during extended sessions. I will provide the installable APK, complete commented source code and a clear README covering permissions, build instructions and configuration. I can also communicate through Discord for voice and screen sharing and provide clear English communication throughout the project. I WILL ALSO PROVIDE 2 YEAR FREE ONGOING SUPPORT AND COMPLETE SOURCE CODE. I eagerly await your positive response. Thanks, Christina

Hi there, You need a silent background Android utility that detects when a video ad appears and automatically triggers the dismissal action. The operational challenge is achieving sub-second reaction times without draining the device's battery or disrupting the user's primary interactions. Technical approach: The most resource-efficient method is leveraging the Android AccessibilityService API. Continuous image recognition (MediaProjection + OCR) will fail your battery acceptance criteria. Instead, an Accessibility hook reads the active UI node tree in real-time. By listening to TYPE_WINDOW_STATE_CHANGED and TYPE_WINDOW_CONTENT_CHANGED events, we can parse view hierarchies for specific text ("Skip", "X") or common ad-network View IDs, programmatically executing an ACTION_CLICK instantly. Core modules: The utility requires an Accessibility Service lifecycle manager, a UI node filtering engine (optimized to prevent CPU spikes), an onboarding flow for required permissions, and a background monitor tracking active packages to only wake the matching logic when ad-heavy apps are foregrounded. Relevant systems: CoreWipe (System-level Android utility managing background execution and deep OS-level permissions). Implementation strategy: We will start by targeting three popular apps to validate UI node extraction and sub-second dispatch. Once the baseline battery efficiency is confirmed, we can expand the node dictionary. I am available via Discord. Regards, Rohit

Hi, I reviewed the request for an Automated Video Ad Skipper App that watches for skippable video ads on Android and auto-presses the “Skip,” “Close,” or “X” control as soon as it appears. The logic needs to stay flexible so it can extend to other ad types later. I’ll build the Android SDK-based utility using Android Studio, Android App Development patterns, and a lightweight detection method (accessibility-service hooks with targeted pattern matching) to identify only the video-ad controls while staying resource-light. I’ll include clean, commented source code and a README covering required permissions, build steps, and configuration options. I’ll keep interactions safe, battery impact negligible, and responsiveness high, with easy maintenance for future extensions. Let’s discuss here now.

Hi,I can build a lightweight Android utility that detects visible Skip/Close/X controls and triggers the tap within 1 second, while staying passive during normal app usage. For reliability, I’d recommend a hybrid approach using Android AccessibilityService as the primary detection layer, with visual/pattern detection as a fallback when the control is not exposed properly through the accessibility tree. This gives better app coverage without continuously consuming CPU through screen analysis. The solution will include: • Android APK/module ready for installation • Automatic detection of Skip, Close and X controls • Fast response when the control appears • Minimal CPU and battery usage • No interference with normal touch interaction • Support for multiple popular ad-supported apps • Extensible detection architecture for future ad types • Proper permission/accessibility handling • Clean, commented source code • Configuration options for future improvements • Complete README with build and setup instructions • Testing against the agreed acceptance criteria I can also communicate clearly in English and am available on Discord for voice calls and screen sharing during development/testing. I’ll structure the implementation so the detection engine can be improved or expanded later without rewriting the Android core. I’m ready to discuss the target apps and testing environment and can start with a working prototype before final optimization.

Hi, Your project to automate skipping video ads on Android requires precise detection and low-latency interaction with dynamic UI elements. The main technical risk is ensuring reliable and efficient ad skip detection across diverse apps and Android versions without impacting user experience or system resources. While my recent projects focus on AI-driven document intelligence and backend automation pipelines, they share the architectural rigor necessary for designing scalable, maintainable systems with real-time responsiveness. I typically design modular detection and action layers that separate UI event recognition from interaction logic to improve reliability and ease future extensions. I’d validate early the detection method’s accuracy and resource footprint, balancing accessibility hooks and visual recognition techniques to meet your performance and flexibility goals. Implementing fallback routing and monitoring can help maintain stability under varying conditions. I can start by outlining the detection and interaction architecture tailored to Android’s environment and your extensibility needs. Clifton

Hello, I have carefully reviewed your requirements and can develop the Android ad-skipping utility with 9+ years of experience in Android, accessibility services, screen automation, computer vision, and background utilities. For this use case, I would use a lightweight hybrid approach: Android AccessibilityService to detect actionable buttons where possible, combined with image/pattern recognition for apps where the skip or close control is only visually identifiable. This gives better coverage while keeping CPU and battery usage low. I can implement background screen monitoring, automatic detection of Skip/Close/X controls, precise tapping within one second, safeguards to avoid interfering with normal touches, configurable permissions, and a modular detection layer that can later support additional ad types. I will provide the installable APK/module, clean commented source code, README, build instructions, and configuration details. Working flow: Screen Monitoring → Ad/Button Detection → Confidence Check → Automatic Tap → Interaction Safety Check → Logging. I can also communicate through Discord for calls and screen sharing and am comfortable speaking English. I can start immediately and can provide relevant Android automation/accessibility examples. Thanks, InvokeTech

Hi, I'm Denis, a full-stack developer with experience building Android utilities that interact with system-level events and screen content, including accessibility-based tools and overlay systems that respond quickly to on-screen changes without draining battery. I understand your project: a lightweight service that detects video ad skip buttons across Android apps and taps them automatically. The key challenge is doing this reliably without heavy processing or interfering with normal app usage. I recommend a hybrid approach combining accessibility service hooks with lightweight image pattern recognition. Accessibility services provide efficient event notifications when UI elements appear without constant screen scanning. For skip button detection, we'd use pattern matching on small regions rather than full-screen recognition, minimizing CPU and battery impact. This is more reliable than pure image recognition and less fragile than targeting specific UI element names. Implementation timeline: set up accessibility service monitoring for video ad patterns, build tap automation logic, test across YouTube and TikTok for one-second response time, profile and optimize battery/CPU usage, then package as an installable APK with documentation. Some apps prevent automation or frequently change ad UI. I'd handle this by making detection logic configurable so you can adjust patterns without rebuilding. I'm ready to start immediately. Let's discuss the details. Thanks, Denis.

Hello, As a result of a detailed review of your project requirements, I fully understand that you need a lightweight Android utility that detects visible Skip/Close/X controls on video ads and taps them automatically without interfering with normal user interaction. I have experience with Java/Kotlin, Android SDK, Android Studio, AccessibilityService, screen-state detection, image recognition, and background service optimization. In my opinion, a hybrid approach is the best fit: use Android AccessibilityService first to detect actionable UI nodes such as “Skip,” “Close,” or content descriptions, then fall back to lightweight image/template recognition only when the control is not exposed through accessibility. This avoids continuous heavy screen processing, keeping CPU and battery usage low while still covering custom-rendered ads. I would structure the detection logic as reusable rules so additional ad types can be supported later, with strict filtering and cooldown safeguards to prevent accidental taps. I have a couple of quick questions. • Which Android versions/devices should be supported initially? • Can you provide the three target apps you want used for acceptance testing? I’m comfortable communicating in English through Discord calls and screen sharing, and I’m ready to start immediately. Best regards, Carlos.
